Assessment of the Chief Executive

The board’s relationship with the chief executive is a crucial one, and providing feedback to the chief executive is one of the most important roles that a board has to play.  Unfortunately, it’s not one that’s carried out uniformly well across all organizations. Recent studies tend to show that many chief executives don’t receive an annual assessment at all. Only about 18% of all chief executives report that they have a valuable assessment process. Bill Musick, President of Integriti3D, shares what can be done to make the assessment process effective and helpful in a way that supports the partnership between the board and the chief executive from the start.

Finally, hospice-focused board development

The Hospice Governance Academy was created to provide industry-specific content directly to hospice leaders. HGA is an easy, online learning platform that ensures your board has a shared base of core hospice governance knowledge and up-to-date information on trends and issues facing hospice care today. Content is contributed regularly by industry-recognized experts.
